Hickory Run is a 15,500-acre State Park located about 5-10 minutes from our house. It has over 40
miles of hiking trails, three state park natural areas and miles of trout streams.

The Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area, is a National Natural Landmark. It's accessible
after a 3.5 miles hike (the Trailhead is on Route 534, right before the I-476 overpass). A quarter
mile long and 400 feet wide, it's an impressive sight.

After returning from a Boulder Field hike, you can try another short trail, just south of the parking lot. It will take
you to the nice Hawk Falls. Make sure you see it from both vantage points: the top, and the bottom!
